Excellent December Light at Heathrow!

Here’s a few from a very good day at Heathrow a couple of weeks ago. The light at this time of year is excellent so here’s a selection from the day.

Go -around, owing to ice being reported on the runway. THis caused the runway to be closed for 10 minuted with arrivals switched to Runway 27L.

Thanks MSR777 and Culpano for your comments. Agree it is indeed surprising IranAir is still going at LHr. Such a shame the light isn’t so good all year round!

Thanks for posting those, some great pics there. Especially like the Iran Air 300, and the Egyptair 330. I’m surprised that in the current political climate, that Iran Air is still seen here.

Great shots as always. Heathrow can be frustrating with the light but when the light is good the place is unbeatable for photos. One of the world’s greatest airports.
