Here is an excellent history of almost every misson by the 8th TFW flying F-4s in the Vietnam war. Check out 1968, for starters, documented kills,(even by the AIM-4 (junk) )
and F-4 losses. Missions in detail. I have read a lot on the F-4 in Vietnam but this covers a lot of stuff.
