Exercise Eagle's Strike.

This is a UK Air manouvre exercise being held on the Salisbury plain and in Norfolk. It is being carried out by 16 Air assault brigade. (16-27 July)

The westland WAH64 apache is making its debut on this exercise, 4 of them are going to be used in a strategic role(whatever that means). Can anybody see the Salisbury plain from their house:)?

Also there is a french unit also participating, it is the 17 RGP(anybody know what this unit is about?)
