EXIF data to a file?

A pal of mine and self want (He needs) to know how you can get hold of the EXIF data and drop it into a usable file, for printing onto a sticker for the back of a photo. He has a massive printed library and is often asked for all the info, which presently has to be hand written.
The only way I’ve found is to get the EXIF data on screen in DPP or other Raw viewers, PrintScreen and paste into MS Paint, then crop and paste relevant parts into MSWord or Powerpoint ready for printing. This can take as long as writing it long-hand.
But, there surely must be a way to get hold of the data as alpha-numerics instead of a bitmap?
We can’t fing any program that will open the EXIF file.

Any ideas?

Another (free) option is PhotoMe http://www.photome.de/home_en.html

You could try Exifer – It bit old now, but free and allows viewing of Exif data and can export to a .csv file, either single images or for all images selected.
