Extra-marital Affairs – Good or Bad?

I’m hearing a lot about Tiger Woods’ extra marital affairs and wondering whether or not they are a bad thing? Can an EMA rejuvenate a waning relationship? Or should we, like my mom and dad, remain together and faithful regardless of whatever, even though they don’t sleep in the same room anymore? Or is divorce the answer?

Bad, unless you both agree (Which is still actually bad) or you both take part in the party. Still makes a mockery of the vows but I know a couple that do this swinging lark, and they enjoy it. (I’m sure I would, if I didn’t like my missus LoL!)

Like I always said, You like what you’ve got until you see what your mates got, then you want a piece of that as well, and that goes for men and women:diablo:

Elizabeth Taylor is getting married for the umpteenth time. She’s never needed an affair.

…..then again, with the carp the Mrs is throwing at me these past few months….:

That sounds a bit fishy to me.

Maybe she’s only codding?

a part of me says, two consenting adults, the privacy of their own (hotel ?) room etc, a “victimless” sin etc. Then again somebody will get hurt, then its not victimless is it ?

then again, with the carp the Mrs is throwing at me these past few months, a few hours of making whoopie could be just what the doctor ordered….

Of course it’s bad to break a vow and be dishonest with someone you love.
But it happens. The grass is always greener…ect, etc,.
I’m sure it’s exciting, flattering and a jolly bit of fun.

I canโ€™t believe that the spouses of some high profile people, film stars, athletes, etc. let their husbands go away for weeks/months at a time and really honestly expect him to behave himself. I’d wager that as long as long as it remains discreet, not much is said.
Rather like the stories we hear of the English upper class and royalty.:D

Itโ€™s easy for the average guy to behave himself, but given the attraction of money and fame, Iโ€™ll go out on a limb here and say that itโ€™s easy for celebrities to be tempted.

Some spouses put up with it for the sake of any childrenโ€ฆor more cynically, to maintain their lifestyle and prestige as โ€œMrs. So-and-so.โ€

And sorry to sound cynical…but if husbamds and wives knew they could get away with it…there would be a lot more of it.

I wonder what the percentages of unfaithful couples are in areas where openly (but discreetly) having a lover on the side is tolerated? And how that compares to more conservative sexual cultures?

The intrigue and deception are intoxicating but remember that most people will not get away with it forever. ๐Ÿ˜‰

There will be a line to cross where divorce is the only solution.:)
