Extreme Sim!

I canโ€™t remember where I got the picture from, but that is one extreme piece of kit!

I have a micro$oft force feedback joystick and 19โ€ monitor, I thought I was doing well until I saw this!

Cheers,
Alepou 340MB.

Sure im half way through building a replica Airbus A320 Flight Deck. Wannabe and MarkL can vouch for this ๐Ÿ™‚ Panels from www.flightdecksolutions.com and software from www.projectmagenta.com

A 3 screen setup or more is possible. I use 3 monitors/projectors in my Flight Deck and sometimes on FS PC. If anyone wants to see my setup for monitors come along on 19th september to the show @: www.pcpilotsireland.com

Or come and see my Flight Deck at www.fs-show.com and my Matrox Graphics card!

Some people do take things a little too far, but the lengths they take to facilitate their hobbies are impressive, if not a little strange occasionally.

i saw that program on Discovery wings , it was good, and some of the setups amazing in time and effort spent mnaking them. I couldnt help but think though that they were taking the p*## out if the guy who seemed to spend most of his time in his garage dressed in a flight suit !! Even his wife seemed to be doing it ! His F18 cockpit was good though and his home made g-suit was very impressive but ……….!!!!!!!

incidently there is a good article in PC Pilot latest issue about the latest consoles and peripherals available.

What would be nice is if you could do a set up with 42″ plasma HDTVs. It could be a completely enclosed visual enviornment.

You are doing well trust me! This guy can only play for 30 minutes, then he gets mad because of all the radiation of those monitors! :p

There was a brill program on discovery wings a few months ago about flight sim junkies, and some of them built their own flight decks to perfect precision, and some even bought the nose section with the flight deck and controls etc still intact and put computer screens in the windows. It was great, anyone else see it?
