After seeing her rolled out last night i decided to pop over to NWI to get her departing,noticed JU-9909 reg had been covered with G-CGTP.

I couldn’t help yesterday nipping back early and getting those two shots on the sites(bad I know:rolleyes::)) just to see the look on your faces as the “little one said”look at this dad the T***s got hi photos up before me:eek::confused::):)Ha,ha.

The 146 uses servo tabs, Wikipedia has a good article. Essentially, the pilots operate the tabs, which in turn aerodynamically moves the elevator instead of being mechanically powered by hydraulics or human strength. The MD-80 is the same.

I don’t know too much about the 146 but whats with the third picture when you look at the tailplane, are they just for pitch or a combined pitch/ roll or does it have some sort of elevator disconnect – Mike
