F-117 Surface finish…

But as there has been such an underwhelming response, I thought I’d repost one of the pics – plus two others – here, showing the rippled surface finish on the F-117 that was in the static park.

I first noticed the ripples when it was raining – they were very pronounced – but I didn’t photograph it.

The effect was rather less dramatic as the rain stopped – but you can still see them.

It struck me how unusual the finish was – not smooth at all.

Or maybe it was just a wood and canvas mockup ?? At least that is what it looked like !!
