From what I’ve read, beginning in 2006, the USAF 224 F-15E will be upgraded with the new APG-63(V)3 AESA. There are no plans to upgrade the F-15C fleet until at least 2011. One F-15C will receive the APG-63(V)3 as a test bench, 18 F-15C from Elmendorf AFB are equipped with the APG-63 (V)2, the remaining of the fleet will still have the APG-63 (V)1 or a more basic version. The 280 F-16C/D will receive the APG-68 (V)9.
