F-16 Brakes

Hi,

I have posted this in other forums but I thought post everywhere and you might strike lucky. Basically I downloaded Kirk Olsson’s F-16 model but have found it has a small hitch. The brakes don’t waork as well as they should and it takes ages to stop after landing (no I am not landing too fast! :rolleyes: ). Any help very much appriciated

You may have to go into the aircraft.cfg file and alter that. You’ll find a small section with [brakes] as the title.

Underneath that you’ll find a line that says “toe_brakes_scale=” and the a decimal number. That decimal number should be somewhere between 0.5 and 0.9. The higher the number the faster you’ll stop!

I’m sorry, but you’ll have to experiment with that number to get it right for you.

Without sounding daft, have you deployed the airbrakes?
