F-16I engine thrust

OK, on to more appropriate topics! The new F-16I will keep the 29000 LB THRUST engine. The info on this says that the IAF is attempting to use the money for more advanced avionics. But what does this do to the flight parameters? What does everyone think of this tradeoff? Which is more useful the avionics or the 32000+ lb. thrust engine? Looking forward to everyone’s views on this.
