F-18 E/F + Eurofighter – failure ?

It seems to me that these two planes are the ones who seem to be the greatest failures to be fielded in the near future.

The F 18 E/F is only a small improvment over the old variants and seems to have some problems to fullfil the planed roles.

The Eurofighter is to expensive, to late and will be only useful in air to air combat which is only happening very rarely. At a later stage it´ll get a ground attack capability, but then will it be good ??

And imagine a dogfight between these two loosers – who wil win ??
