Hello everbody
I have seen a video of the F-22A Raptor performing an take off and vertical climbing to FL 150 using maximum military power.
But a video of Langley Air Show 2006, there’s an F-22A performing the same maneuver but using its maximum afterburner power, but the plane did not climb vertically to FL 150, but going to a “few” ( I think FL 040) and doing some kind of Tailslide maneuver instead.
My question is: How can the Raptor be capable to climb vertically after taking off to FL 150 in military power but can’t do the same thing using its maximum afterburner power?
Thanks in advance
