Does anyone here know if the much maligned F-3H demon ever achieved supersonic speed at level flight ?
Scources say it was capable of it but only by its later variants that had most of its problems fixed like the F3H-2N models and looking at it , one would have thought it would have had a promosing career as a all weather fighter

The speed listed for the Demon is 716 mph (Mach 0.97) if that’s any help.
