F-7 v/s MiG-29- a story

Can a MiG-21 beat a MiG-29?

Many of you will of course say no way….but here is a true story I heard from a cousin who works in PAF. During last years kargil war- an IAF MiG-29 was on CAP providing cover to MiG-27 on strike mission when it crossed the line of control. A PAF F-7MG was scrambled and intercepted the Mig-29 and after a short dogfight, had it helpless in its gunsights. The Mig-29 beat a hasty retreat. Just goes to show that its the man, not the machine, that determines victory and defeat.
