Can I get some commentary on these two aircraft. I used to think the F-7 series was just crap until I got some info and saw some pictures of the newest model, the F-7MG. This aircraft is almost a new bird. It has the advanced wing of the J-7E and the latest western avionics, which include MFD’s and a HUDWAC. It can carry a large variety of air-to-air and air-to-ground stores. The PL-2, PL-5, PL-7, and PL-9 are its weapons, plus the ability to use the R.550 Magic. I don’t know too much about the J-8, so info on this aircraft in particular would be appreciated. It looks like a MIG-21 rear with an F-4 or MIG-23 front. I think it looks nice, but how does it perform?
