Happy days!
I remember the Sea Hawk, Sabre, T-33 formation at Duxford several years ago – what a wonderful sight that was. And now the fate of those three aircraft pretty much sums up what is happening to the classic jet scene in the UK – grounded, sold or destroyed!

She needed new bag tank(s).

What on earth did they do to her in the USA ,wasn’t she airworthy when she left here?

Much missed at Dx, certainly by me anyway, together with the beautifully finished T-33 that was lost.

Every time I heard a jet running up and saw plumes of black smoke drifting across the M11 you just knew it was the F-86A!

Now registered N48178. Hopefully soon to go back to natural metal for the first time in 45 years!
