F/A-18E vs Typhoon

From a multi-role land based perspective what would be the most effective, the Typhoon or SuperHornet. For example the Typhoon’s acceleration, as an interceptor, clearly make it better at that role. But in the strike role, which aircraft is the better.

And from a Naval perspective which would make the better fighter. Both types have been considered for the RN’s CVF.
