F/L Robert L. Wood , 609 Sq , missing

Hello ,

Just found this while searching :

http://www.invaluable.com/auction-lot/the-second-world-war-awards-to-flight-lieutenant-1-c-xp0tzx34cp

Could someone help ? I’d like to hear either from seller or buyer , as F/L Wood went missing in my area in Normandy near Etretat . I have failed to trace Wood’s relatives after all these years .

Thanks ,

I’ve passed your question on to the squadron association…for now here’s a little bit of background info, if you email me on snapper35@hotmail.com i’ll rememeber. to dig up some more info – i have photographs of him i think and also have the orb which may shed some more info; i’m happy for the stuff I have to be public, it’s just a pain to upload it on here ;D

119101 Flight Lieutenant Robert Leslie Wood
