Unlike other US event’s where there has been a flypast, it wasn’t timed for the end of the singing of the anthem.

They were on the Sky F1 coverage – was a very pleasant surprise. They also had a parachutist trailing the Stars and Stripes.

I can’t recall a heritage flypast when the Grand Prix was at Indianapolis?

Indeed, the P-38 and 2 Mustangs all owned by Dan Friedkin, a resident of Houston, Texas and Heritage Flight Pilot 🙂
