Should be back in the air on Monday, ailerons & flaps were hung Tuesday, rudder & elevators go back on tomorrow. 425mile round trip commute to fix it kinda sucks tho.

This is the wall inside the paint hangar…kinda looks like the bracing wires that keep the hangar in one piece are holding up the diesel blower… care to identify the aircraft?

Looks like a Lockheed JetStar with two engines (per the prototype …but I don’t think the prototype wasn’t painted like that).

Or possibly the later Lockheed FanStar (?) project… & I should remember how that was painted because I cut it up into little pieces with a sawzall at VanNuys about 18 years ago… I think that might just be it…
