Fairey Battle Restoration

I’m Sure i read last year somewhere about a Fairey Battle being imported (from Canada?) for restoration to fly- does anyone have any details?- i DO hope i didn’t dream it!!!

No news yet, as noted before I’m not actively involved in the Battle, concentrating on the Beeches at the moment, after the kerfuffle last time, work is ongoing off radar!- 🙂

Hi FN i am located in sunny Melbourne Vic. there is also a battle cockpit in SA also SAAMs battle project which is where the RAF Museums spare battle wings went.

I suspect I may be preaching to the converted here, but there’s a chap in South Australia who is restoring either the cockpit section or a fuselage of a Battle. Don’t know if that’s of any use!?
