I can’t help with an illustration of the dashboard (been searching for a long time) but here’s a list of the major instruments in use in 1926. It might be of some help to you.

For the sake of the public record a complete set of drawings exist at ANAM Moorabbin Archives for the fabrication of floats for Fairey IIID floatplane as used by the RAAF. These are the same type you can see on the Portuguese Fairey IIID displayed in the Portuguese Museum. These drawings will be digitized over 2018.

There’s a lovely book out there by Phil Jarrett: plenty of detail shots. EDIT: I see it’s Fairey IIIF, but I’m sure it contains stuff on the IIID too.

There are two Fairey in Portugal – the one is a static total replica but I thought the other (in the Naval museum) was all original?
