Fairford Arrivals -12.07

I’m fairly new to aircraft photography. Been down to Fairford today so I thought I’d post a few pictures I’ve taken and would appreciate some comments.

I’m using a Canon EOS 350d with a 75-300mm 1:4-5.6 USM.

I’ve had a few problems with shooting helicopters. I’m trying to show some sort of movement using 1/125 shutter speed and an ISO of 100, yet it is still coming out over exposed. I had a play with the white balance also changing it to cloudy, but that also made no real change.

Pretty good. Keep going. From the layman’s point of view I can’t see anything wrong with those photos – professional photographers might differ, don’t take any notice of them. If you’re happy with them that’s all that matters.
