Stewart,

Looks as if you had a good day. Its a shame I did not know you were going as I would have said hello (I took twelve of my cadets for the day). I am sure you have seen my pictures on an earlier thread, but as richb said about the weather, it was a bit wet! The weather did however throw up some interesting picture oppertunities.

Regarding the Dak – N47NK – anyone know who operates this? Was this one of the two (the other being the Southcoast Airways example) which were in storage at an airfield near the Solent (can’t remember the name of the airfield but it was on the tele a few months ago as there was a programme about a campaign to stop an asylum centre being built there. In one of the shots the Southcoast Airways, and a camo DC3 were parked in the background)

What’s that odd triangular thing in the last pic????? Must be a tent or something as it can’t be an aircraft it’s way too ugly!!!!!
