Fairoaks and Blackbushe the Other Day

Hi,

I called at both Fairoaks and Blackbushe the other day.

Fairoaks was my first port of call. There are often a couple of PC-12s on the apron here, and I was greeted by M-ARTY:-

Cirrus N222SW was parked up:-

The most interesting visitor for me was M-AXIM, the first light aircraft I have seen from the Isle of Man:-

It is only a short drive from Fairoaks to Blackbushe. There is often a biz jet or two here these days, and Falcon 2000 was dominating the apron;-

Now that a number of hangars have appeared at Blackbushe, fewer aircraft can be seen than before. However, one of the more interesting aircraft based at Blackbushe, float plane G-ESSL, was parked in its usual place:-

Piper Cub G-ZAZA was enjoying the sunshine:-

I hope the photos are of interest – some more from both airports can be found at http://www.flickr.com/photos/indiaecho/
