Yep, but it wasn’t that I meant

The launch of the Cockpitfest Australia event in Melbourne will be a first for a foreign location.

Cockpitfest Australia
So what will be on show? At the event will be 3 cockpits – a ex RAF Jaguar fighter bomber front fuselage/cockpit, a SU-22 fighter bomber front cockpit section and a Hunter fighter bomber front fuselage cockpit section.

The owner of the SU-22 and Jaguar is planning in the future, to mount his cockpits sections on trailers and take them to air shows, community / private events and let people actually sit inside the cockpits so they can learn about aircraft and aviation history.

He posts on here also under the ozjag name and is in Melbourne

Might be cool if in the future you could all come to some collaboration 🙂 just a thought

Quick update with just a few weeks to go :

A special display – the partial remains of a floor area / front section of a Fairey Battle is now confirmed.

Raffle is getting bigger by the week – around 30 prizes up for grabs.

Very few tickets left for access inside the Beaufighter.

Will have the Southern Area Concert Band performing a set of military works as well (90% confirmed)

So many things on the day – but vital to get your tickets beforehand ! See above for details
