Ok well about 20 miles away from ncl there is the otterburn ranges mainly used for the army artillery etc but the jets do come up to do there thing to. Then further inland we have a big electronic warfare range and a FAC range that the jets use all the time. Not to mention apaches and allsorts, ncl i think is there diversion area.
Ok mate cheers for update.

LOL nice Jag shot there. Is this why the RAF aircraft sometimes come into NCl due to a nearby bombing training range?

The hawk, compared to some of the RAF’s “fast jets” are quite quiet. Jaguar’s on the other hand WOOO!
Nice hawk shot, 100 Squadron RAF. We’ve got a similar skull and crossbones for 100 Squadron Air Training Corps 😀

Am I right in saying that Hawk is new to 100 Sqn and did it belong to 19 Sqn before ?
