Fantastic photostream of Kingman's boneyard 1946-47

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I thought it was well worth another look – 738 very interesting images in all, quite a few taken at the famous boneyard at Kingman Army Airfield during the disposal of thousands of war-weary B-24s and B-17s after 1945…

They’re still scrapping at Kingman now. Here was what was for the chop in about 2001. These have been posted on other threads before, sorry if you have already seen them!

Thanks for the link…amazing that somebody has dug through rather user-unfriendly LIFE archive and made a Flickr set of Kingman (and thus a slideshow)
