I heard a rumour we were getting this in Manchester on Sunday.
I tracked it on Flightradar24 and drove to the Tatton Arms car park in readiness for some great moody shots of the beast emerging from the fog !
Airband scanner picked it up on finals and I got into position ready for the shot……

Watched it on flightradar24 as it turned around and flew to Prestwick instead!
Hee hee – found out later it diverted. So I didn’t even hear it !!!
