Air France never brought their Concordes up to the same modification state as the BA ones. Allegedly the Air France Concorde didaster would have bben much less likely to have occurred to a BA Concorde as the BA ones had a ‘cow catcher’ fitted to each main gear. Funnily enough Air France have now decided to add this feature!

Excellent shots. Would be nice if we could see her fly with the RA once more before her final departure. 🙂

Build at the same place. if there is some differences ,they might be minor ones.

Just the interior layout might be slightly different.

People I have a question.

Are there any differences to the Concorde’s built for Air France and the Concorde’s built for British Airways? I mean were they all built and assembly at the same factory unit, or were there two differnet ones? One for Britain and one for Air France?

I remember the PDF formating with the Concorde during the airshow at la Ferte alais, somewhere in the 80ties. Guess it was 1986 or 19867. Weather was bad. I’ll guess

Great photos Hand – Concorde never fails to look good, I only wish I’d managed to capture one on video.

Wow She looks magnificent…..i agree with Steve Rowell, it’s sad the concorde belongs to the past now. I hope if it ever gets a sucessor that it will resemble this grand “old” lady.
Thanx Hand!
