You will be sad to hear that Flt Lt Richard Jones of 64 Squadron died earlier this week at the age of 93.
He was ‘my’ local Battle of Britain hero, always had time to talk, always interested, especially when we were working on BL370. He was imortalised in several famous wartime photographs.
R.I.P Richard.

my thoughts are a humble “Thank you” without brave chaps like ths our world would have been a very different place…..I only can hope that as generations pass by that the sacrifice and courage shown throughout war by what i call REAL HEROES is never forgotten and never confined to a couple of pages in a history book.

A salute for his life & service
Condolences to his family and friends… a slaute for his service during a very dark period of world history.
