A few photos from sundays action at Waddington, I specifically travelled up to see the Canberra which was displayed superbly. (Can anyone tell me who the pilot was)
The display I felt was a little short on heavy metal and suffered from quite a few gaps, but as always at Waddington there is a huge array of stalls to keep you occupied. I ended up leaving early in attempt to beat the traffic, although I must admit though I’m not sure I could have stayed any longer due to seering heat.

Sqn Ldr Terry Cairns. 61 years old, probably the oldest active pilot in the RAF. Flying the oldest aircraft too, XH134, built in 1959. 😉

Sorry for not knowing the answer to this..
The light blue Spitfire in the 3 ship formation, is that with the BBMF?

Thanks everyone,
There would have been a greater selection of photos but I was too hot to watch the entire show,
And thanks LesB, for the info on Terry Cairns, a great display which I will remember for a long time. 🙂

Love the optical effects in the canopies of the Spit T9 in the landing shot.

Nice shots Septic, the PR9’s still look great. Shame they are going out of service.
