Farm/Campsite vid with A/C bits

The location concerned has been opened to the public for aviation and military vehicles events every year for many years. So I dont think it is likely that any internet exposure makes it a target.

that’s why we don’t advertise where we are and where we store our aircraft !!!

we did at our old place and even opened up to visitors (silly boy !!!) and what did we get ? two break ins and spitfire stuff went out the door thanks but no thanks !!!

There have been thefts of large items quite recently. One wonders if spreading clips like this will only encourage more.

Especially as a few seconds googling with a couple of bits of info brings up the exact location on google maps and the satellite images show whats on the ground.

At 0.52 in left hand side of frame behind what I think is an anti aircraft gun is a modern light aircraft with the canopy open but I can’t identify the type.

The AN2 was for a short while stored at Sleap,the engine I believe is sound but someone tried to remove the prop blades with a Stihl saw/disc cutter,the inside is/was substantially complete,I have no idea wher it is now,

At 1.21 that looks like Yoder power hammer in front of the red car…The boat at 1.42 has MTB lines…There’s a Frost English Wheel in the shed behind the red car at 1.57..

I’d like to have a poke about that place with cash in hand…
