Farnborough Airshow

Hi!

I am in the planning stages of a trip to the Farnborough Airshow.
We will be attending the show on saturday and sunday, but if we would like to attend on the friday (tradeday), would we need some kind of accreditation?

What interesting announcements are expected at the Farnborough Airshow?

“Ding dong, could the driver with license plates JZ-LG-30 please remove his vehicle from the disabled spot”. 😉

Officially Rekkof is still trying to get their act together. Any chance they will call it quits? Also, KLM is expected to place an order to replace their 733s and 734s with 738s and 739s (ERs?). Possibly converting a few more A330 options. Also, I would expect a timeframe for the 773s KLM announced they would get.

I’ll be interested to see who Airbus put up for their Monday press conference. Given events of the last few days the questions from better-briefed journalists are likely to be pretty pointed. Reckon the Airbus PR team will have their work cut out to keep everything on-message.
If the floor drops out of the Farnborough press centre during the Airbus conference again, as it did about three or four shows back. I’d check for monkey business!

Hi Wingnut,

This year the friday is going to be Trade Peoples Family Day so possibly the show will be geared more towards children and learning that day.

You can buy trade tickets on their website and i dont think you need accreditation. Just bear in mind people bringing their kids means regular trade attendance x 3 or 4 so coulld possibly be alot more busier than you expect.

Trade tickets are £22 plus VAT but be warned if you want to fit in most business people will be wearing suits!
