Hello All,
Have not posted any pics for a couple of months, but here I am again! Took a day trip to Faro today, after being invited to go just last night! Real spontaneous! Anyway, the destination was Faro, somewhere I had never been before. Spotting wise, the spot we went to, a mound to the South-west of the terminal was fantastic. It offered great views over the whole airfield and you could get away with using the standard 18-55mm lens from here. The only downside was the traffic. Not a great deal of movements, so take something to occupy yourself if you ever go! Anyway, the pictures

Comments most welcome, Regards.

Great shots, thanks for these. As Frakky says, slightly ironic that all of them are G- or EI- reg’ed!
Passed through Faro on my holidays last November, and yes it’s quite a ‘snug’ little airport with good views. Was chuffed to see one of the EMA-operated Kamov Ka-32’s taking-off there just before my flight back to UK departed, never seen one of those before. There’s also an OGMA-built Auster hanging in the terminal.

Thanks for the comments guys!
Wasn’t too bad, the sun gave me a nice basis to replenish my tan in Madrid next month. Lets face it, won’t get that from UK weather!
Cheers again

Nice one of the BMIbaby to finish off, Gosh I’d be annoyed if I went all the way to Portugal and all the planes were British lol.
Good job on the pics though. 😎
