FAS C-47 previous identity?

A week ago I took this photo of a Salvadoran AF C-47, its being repaired as you can see and the paint has started to fade out.

You can see that it was camo? before and that has a red line that starts on the nose and ends who-knows-where, also the top of the nose is painted black.

Does anyone knows if any C-47 from the US was painted like this?
