It is with much regret I learned of a fatal accident, in Italy last Sunday, killing a well-known member of the vintage glider community. It would appear the accident flight that took his life was in his immaculately restored Olympia Meise. I’ll leave this post here because I feel several forum members who restore vintage sailplanes will know the pilot involved.
