Tonight I’ve been looking booking a holiday coz I need some sunshine.
This got me thinking, what was your fave holiday?
Or, where have you been to but would never go back in a million years.
My favourite was St Lucia in 2003.
Never been to a really bad place.

My girlfriend is sitting next to me in fridgid Minnesota and she says the best vacation place is Switzerland for the mountains and Mallorca, Spain for the beaches. I say Norway for the mountains and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for the beaches.
My girlfriend says the worst place she has ever visited would be Ghana Africa. I was not impressed with Iceland. I thought it was a very ugly country.

For me, I would have to say, the entire south eastern region of France where I have relatives and friends. I get knots in my stomach each time I fly in, waiting in anticipation for the good times, the good food and the good wines! Can’t wait for my next trip! 🙂

Thailand, the “Land of Smiles.” Glorious weather, beautiful gracious people, stunning sights, fantastic beaches, mouthwatering food, wonderful culture, ludicrously cheap (at least once you’ve got there) good plane spotting at Bangkok (Don Muang) and nightlife way beyond your wildest dreams. What more could you want?

My favourite – Belgium. The best beer in the world, the best food in the world (especially chips), nice photogenic towns and the Ardennes are very nice too. And the best airline in the world.
Wouldn’t go back – Cyprus and Tenerife because we went before they got ruined by lager louts and yobs and so I wouldn’t want to go back and see how much they have changed. Same goes for Iceland – we used to go there every year until it got ruined and became fashionable to go for all night drinking and partying. And I wouldn’t go back to Hawaii either because it was too hot with nothing to do and I was bored out of my head.

The Norfolk area, around Wells, Sheringham and Cromer is fantastic in good weather, and also expect to be buzzed by F15’s and Tornado’s etc if your driving out and about on the country lanes!

Do school trips count as ‘holidays’?
If so, San Francisco would have to be my top holiday destination because there is something for everyone to do!
If not, I suppose my favourite holiday holiday destination would have to be Cyprus…my family went on holiday to Paphos for 2 weeks, and loved it so much that my parents want to buy a property out there to retreat to during the UK winter!

Have been to Singapore and Bali – I’m not normally a “lie by the pool” sort of person but the heat did for me and sitting by a pool under the shade of a Bougainvillea and being able to wallow in the pool whenever, made it bearable! 😉 Would go again if I got the chance.
Absolute favourite place is Austria – saw my first F1 race there in the most incredible scenery, and thought my ears had been wrecked for life!
Also have a huge soft spot for the Kyle of Lochalsh and Isle of Skye!
Can’t think of anywhere I wouldn’t go back to.
