I want to be a porn star casting agent. this way i get to ‘screen’ test all the starlets without the cameras in the way , which may affect performance…

But really I like to be investigative journalist, specialising in IT and technology, exposing all the dodgy software, cars, airplanes, military hardware which the big corporation and the government doesnt want you to know about.

As they say Information is power.!!!!!!!!!!!

RE: VET – nothing else comes close

I’m happy with my job. I run a photolab, during which time I restore wartime pictures and type up all my archive stuff, and generally do whatever I feel like to fill the time between developing peoples 1 hour snaps. My overall boss (its in a department store) is superb, and I get no stress, no hassle, and no problems. Easy life, and a great atmosphere amongst the staff. I freelance as a photographer whenever I get a call (Weddings, editorial, travel stock). Between the two, I live ok (the lab work pays peanuts, but I’m a monkey anyway!).

I have no aspirations to be rich with all the trappings (though the rest of my family like all that. I would rather chill out). I must admit that I would like to live back to the countryside though. I have a concrete garden, and I will never be able to have a pet goat if it has nowhere to graze when it goes outside the house in the morning.

VET – nothing else comes close

There is only one job in it for me – veterinary surgeon (with the emphasis on surgeon). I used to help in a vets every weekend and school holiday and it’s the best job in the world for those interested in medicine AND animals.
Maes. Definitely the best lager in the world.

RE: Fave Job

I had my dream job. I worked with children and young people with learning and physical disabilities (and any combination thereof) both within the community and residential or respite units. It was a job I absolutely loved and manged to get kids to do so many things they might not otherwise have experienced. I’ve said to people before it must be a truly amazing experience to see your child take their first steps. Then think what it is like when someone else’s eight year old child takes their first ever steps, and they walk to you. It was the most exciting, thrilling, satisfying, rewarding and downright plearurable job that I have ever had.

RE: Fave Job

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 23-12-02 AT 00:14 AM (GMT)]I used to want to be a pilot, but since I scrapped that idea my ultimate job is now to be a liquidator. These guys are appointed by a court to act as judge, jury and executioner. They have incredible powers and they earn staggering amounts. A friend of mine from school qualified as a chartered accountant last year (it’s next year for me!) and almost immediately was registered as a liquidator. He earns something over GBP 200,000 a year and he isn’t even 27 yet.

I’d just like to add that another friend (my best friend) holds a PhD in biochemistry from Oxford. He’s unemployed and lives with his mum in Hull. Isn’t it frightening how worthless scientific training is in the UK?

We aint related are we?

I oh so very nearly became a milkman a long time ago (I didn’t actually go the whole hog) and nearly signed up for a franchise with the dairy in Salisbury.

I also do the occassional cartoon and drawings and have had some published (mainly in newsletters) not anything national tho’!.

Unfortunately apart the the Kazoo, I have no musical talent…well hang on a bit, I used to play the Cornet at school…actually I learnt one tune and that was it !. I’ve always wanted to be able to play the Sax and the Eukelalie, but have never even picked either of one up.

One day

Cheers

I’ve been a milkman, I had a franchise about 15years ago, and I must admit I really enjoyed it………for a while.

One job that I once wanted to do was to be a cartoonist, I got to the point where I had some cartoons considered by the Daily Mirror, only to be told I had to be a union member,so I set about………well, its a long story, but I still like to draw, but for pleasure not profit.

Being a musician appeals to me as well
