She’s just expressing her opinion on Coldplay, nothing wrong with that.

Comet, what you dont seem to understand is that people have different tastes, just because you dont like them, doesn’t mean that other people shouldn’t.
For example, I cant stand 50 Cent, but I understand that some people cant get enough of him. I actually like Coldplay and Natasha Bedingfield, and indeed own albums by both artists.

lol, that’s a good way to put it.
Haven’t you noticed that every Coldplay songs starts with the same high pitched whine? They are just so depressing I can’t do to listen to them. I like music with a bit of something about it, a good tune. I don’t have a favourite group because if I like a song then I get it, no matter who sings it, but there are some I just don’t like the sound of. Coldplay and Natasha Bedingfield are two of them. I like mostly 80s music and ELO are also very good to listen to, especially when you are having a glass of beer and chilling out in the lounge.
As for Christmas number 1, the winner of X Factor, it’s a big fix anyway I think.

I love the JCB song! Coldplays new song is also excellent.
HA! Yes, the JCB song! 😀

When I was in work the other day we had radio 1 on, and I had to endure the new Coldplay whine in its entireity.
lol, that’s a good way to put it.

I have got Hard-Fi’s album and it is excellent! 😀 I also love KT Tunstall and am hoping for her album for Christmas along with Charlotte Church, Kelly Clarkson and Madonna. I’ve also got Jem’s album which is one of the best around 😀
Also, who do you want to see be Christmas number 1? I think it’s probably going to be the XFactor winner, but I’d like to see Coldplay’s new one “Talk”, or maybe Girls Aloud but I don’t really care as long as it isn’t that annoying frog thing that’s gone absolutley crazy that everyone seems to love with his absolute rubbish version of Jingle Bells! 😡

I dont give a crap what Comet says, I absolutely love Coldplay, and X and Y is an absolute masterpiece. Other great albums this year have been Kaiser Chiefs, KT Tunstall, Franz Ferdinand, Hard Fi, Gorillaz.

Well if you listen to local radio crap, then what do you expect to hear ? Why don’t you explore the world of DAB radio and try something like BBC Radio 6 music for example ??? 😀
Because we can’t get DAB here 🙁 We got a DAB radio last year after we phoned up to check if we were in the right area, the woman told us we were. But the radio would not pick anything up, and when I checked our details on the internet I found out that Filey can get DAB radio, but not Scarborough 😡 Scarborough is the back of the queue for everything, hell we can’t even get turkeys in Sainsburys yet, it’s just full of chickens, which gives you an idea of how crap things can be here compared to some other places. Scarborough will be the last place in the UK to get DAB I bet. But as soon as we can get it we will get a decent radio. We don’t listen to the local stuff as much now anyway, and if Coldplay or Natasha Bedingfield are played then I have to switch off.

yes but we are still unsure is Dave will continue under the Megadeth name. At least thats what he said during the Melbourne gig. But yea Gigantour DVD will be amazing…. Dream Theater and Megadeth!!Woot! Although DReam Theater’s new album Octavarium was quite dissapointing. 🙁
Megadeth is continuing, Mustaine said as much at the concert in South America (Buenos Aires?) after Gigantour was over. That’s the show they recorded for the new live album too if I remember right.
Speaking of Gigantour, did I mention I was there this summer, in the front row even? Look, who’s that with me in the picture? 😀

And there’ll be more Megadeth next year: a studio album, a live album from the last tour, a GIgantour DVD, and the Arsenal Of Megadeth DVD set with live crap and every music video they’ve ever done :diablo:

Best for me:
U2 – saw them live 3 times, Dublin, Millenium stadium and live 8, and just another amasing year for a legendry band.
Greenday – Wake me up when september ends
Robbie Williams last one
Worst song though has to go to that ******* amfibion thing that was on tv to much. And its doing an xmas number one. Even Tony Chrsities is this the way to Father christmas will be better.

Jem – They certainly scores high in my chart…. (Together with Mousse T – Is it because Im cool)
The new album of Oasis – Don’t believe the thruth just great, never thought that they could make another proprer album, but they just did it with this album
Kaisers Chief & The Killers were quite a surprise for me, good
Still prefer the previous Gorillaz album with Clint Eastwood and some other classics.
The new album of the Fun Lovin’ Criminals is pretty good as well
And I forgot to add that I fell slightly inlove with Katie Melua, when she walked on stage and did a couple of proper light jazz songs. It might have been the booze, but she really could sing that evening. (not the mention that she WAS able to do some proper Jeff Buckley covers, while the other new jazz smurf jamie cullen, couldn’t even do that
Two of the best live shows I’ve seen were T Raumschmiere Great electro Punk and zZz the best music made with an orghan and drums

Last decent album that was released were 2004s Velvet Revolver, Megadeth and Children Of Bodom albums.

Hmm must say a not very impressive year for music for me.
lets see…
Fear Factory – Transgression
Santana – All About Me (please oh please stop taking Miss Branch!!!)
thats it!!!
Bands that dissapointed me…
The Rolling Stones
And the world needs to stop sucking up to Green Day, American Idiot is a very crap album in my opinion.
