Simple question; which is your favourite track by the Fab Four? Hey Jude?
Strawberry Fields? Let it Be? Penny Lane? Something? Yesterday? A.N.Other?

I don’t have a favourite Beatles song. I never listen to them. Some of these are quite good though…

Just one of my favourites:

It’s far too difficult to name just one, as most replies have shown. My favourites are Here, There and Everywhere, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, I’m Only Sleeping . . . but they did so few unmemorable songs. Most of their albums were like a collection of greatest hits.

All the Early material when lennon /mcartney were really in their prime up to “Revolver” favourite track being “got to get you into my life”
thing is the singles were really good value as both A and B sides were brilliant.

My Mum is a big fan of The Beatles, so I am familiar with most of their songs, but I just love “Mr Kite” 😀

always thaught they were terrificly over hyped when the likes of jethro tull , floyd , cat stevens and the stones etc were around but if i had to pick 3 it would be back in the ussr , hey jude and norwegian wood !!
For me The Rolling stones, The Who and most of all The Kinks were better musically, But The Beatles caught the moment somehow, the first real boyband I guess.

Its difficult to choose a favourite with a band that turned out so many good songs in a realitively short period, but for me theres 3 that I really love above all the others.
“Something”
“While My Guitar gently weeps”
“Day in the life”
Two of the tracks are because I have a bit of a soft spot for George Harrison’s music, and always felt his talent never quiet shone through in a way it could of.

Once heard Steve Earle and the Del McCory Band do a bluesgrass version of “I’m Looking Through You”… utterly brilliant and quite brave considering the gig was in Liverpool…!
For me it has to be “Tomorrow never knows…” from Revolver… almost reads like a manifesto for what they were going to do next…
