Favourite movie character

Self-explanitory.

Who is your favourite movie character, and why??

Two of my faves would have to be Quint from Jaws and Gunnery Sergeant Hartman from Full Metal Jacket.

Classic line from that movie:
Private Pyle, I’m gonna give you three seconds, exactly three ****in’ seconds, to wipe that stupid lookin’ grin off your face or I will gouge out your eyeballs and skull **** you.

Indiana Jones is another favourite, along with the character Larry Talbot in “The Wolfman” – classic 40s horror! 🙂

Oddball from Kelly’s Heros. Gunny Hartman is a close second though.

Oddball has that whole spaced out hippie vibe going and absolutly nothing is going to spoil his day.

Crapgame, to a New Yorker like you a hero is some kind of wierd sandwich, not some nut who takes on three Tigers!

Slim pickens, Doctor Strangelove.

We got one .45 caliber pistol.
Two boxes a ammaanition
50 dollars in gold
50 dollars in rubles
One miniature rooshin phrase book and holy bible
Two packages of chewin gum
Two pairs of nylons.
Shoooot, a guy could have a pretty good time in vegas with this stuff!

And of course, “YeeeeHaaaaa!”

And…An up and coming runner up, I really like this movie, everytime I see it, it moves farther up the ole movie list, is

Rod Farva, Super Troopers

Fast food punk: How bout we supersize it for a quarter?
Rod: How bout I punchasize your face for free!

I’m a fan of the old horror flicks with the likes of Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi and Lon Chaney Jr, my favourite character was Micheal Rennie as Klaatu in the classic “The day the earth stood still”

Funny, there’s a similar line in FMJ…

“Holy dog ****. Texas? Only steers and queers come from Texas, Private Cowboy. And you don’t look much like a steer to me so that kinda narrows it down. Do you suck dicks?”

Quint’s a legend in my house too!

“You all know me. You all know what I do for a livin'”

Big fan of Indiana Jones myself, and James Bond in the Roger Moore incarnation…

All time favourite is Sergeant Foley in An Officer and a Gentleman. Just awesome…

“Only two things come from Oklahoma. Steers and queers. Now which one are you boy, cos I see no horns”
