What is your favourite piece of music and why?
My favourite is “Blown to bits” from the Jaws soundtrack – gets the adrenalin going a lot better than most film soundtracks!!!

I used to like Cliff Richards ‘Congratulations’
reasons??
Before I moved house we lived next to a village hall and during the summer when it was hot and you had the windows open and there was a wedding reception on every week you knew when they played Cliff they were packing up! 😀 😀 😀 :diablo:

Ode to joy and Ride of the Valkyries are about the only bits of classical stuff you can “rock out” to! 😉

I think Beethoven’s “Ode To Joy” is very inspiring and uplifting

Ahem. Back to the question… 😉
Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb” is particularly good to drive to.
For non-lyrical music, the one which always gives me a sense of wide open spaces is John Barry’s theme from Dances With Wolves. Really good for making you feel small and insignificant, which ain’t a bad thing sometimes. 🙂

“Underpants, on me head, now I can see,
why the men, in white coats, are coming for me!”

Phil Collins “against all odds” as it is calm and relaxing and i like the words

Shine on you crazy Diamond, Pink Floyd or any of these three albums:-
Darkside of the Moon
Wish you Were Here
The Wall
When driving (on my own) the music has to be fast, furious and loud. If the present MRSEN830 is with me, then it is normally the Wombles, “don’t ask”.
