Lemme throw an oldie but a goodie at ya…Kevin Costner….Judd Nelson…a crazy Cessna pilot…a bottle of buried Champagne…a classic scene about tying a Cadillac to the back of a train…a little flick called ‘Fandango’…love that movie…

IT’S A MAD MAD MAD MAD WORLD..

Vanishing point, now that was quite a movie. What I like about American road movies, are the locations.
How about ” ITS A MAD MAD MAD MAD WORLD ”, this was a classic road movie, with all the highway atmosphere to boot. Why do I give this film the ultimate road movie . Simply because it’s a lesson in human nature, I can’t think of another road movie like this one. You see it all, greed, stupidity, cunningness, humor, and adventure. Spencer Tracy is superb, as the bent cop, after some buried treasure, and the rest of the road crew are equally as good.
If you like a film that’s pure escapism, this is the one to watch, it made me feel as if I were actually there with them.
One very last important point, all the characters in this film, are perfect stereotypes of real people.

You can’t go past the old classic road movies starring Bing Crosby, Bob Hope and Dorothy Lamore
