Obviously I’m duty bound to say that this is the best front cover on any AW yet!!!
There is however one thing that this photographer has caught on camera that you rarely see to this degree in any other picture. Look at the red nav light on the wing tip. Now follow the leading edge of the wing from the tip to the wing root and notice the bend in the wing. When the aircraft is on the ground the wing bends slightly down due to its weight but that obviously reverses in flight as is shown here. The picture was taken in level flight (although it has been angled here in order to get more of it on the page and make it more interesting) so the aircraft is experiencing 1g. If it was manoeuvring it would be subject to increased load so the wings could bend considerably more.
I was told by a 747 flight engineer a few years ago that when a 747 rotates on take off the wing tips raise by over a meter due to the sudden lift generation and I can well believe it. It is not readily apparant as the wing tips are behind the main wheels so when the nose rises the tips actually go down, so the lift induced rise appears to be cancelled out.

It could be Airliner World (Key Publishing) at fault here..
They say it comes out on the second Wednesday of every month and I only got mine on Monday.

The thing inside that caught my eye was the in the feedback section, of the minature 737 and A320 jets, can we expect to see these in the future?
It said that they had been posted on the net before, does anyone have the site that they are on?

I recieved mine on Monday. Again of extremely high quality. I enoyed the NW Fugu hub article a lot.
