Fedex crash, Lubbock, 27/1/09

The investigation continues on the crash of Fedex ATR.42 N902FX. According to the report, ‘getting close to the runway, the plane begins to warble’. This is an unknown aviation term to me, anyone else?:D

Let’s see. A plane crash in Lubbock…AND native son Buddy Holly died in a plane crash.
Accident…or Conspiracy?:eek::eek::eek:

Quick call ITV.

Warble is a real word….it has to do with sound as in “to sing in a quavering or trilling way…”.

So it looks like the local TV reporter used the wrong word. As a former TV reporter not far from Lubbock…I know it happens occasionally.
Though I never did it.:D
