Hi Ross
Just bumping this thread in the hope that you may have some more photo’s on the progress of Jack’s Demon, and to ask if you’ve had a chance to see if he has any spare bits that he might be willing to part with.

Hi Ross
Does Jack still have the many spare fuselage etc joints that he acquired some years ago, & if so, would any of them be available ?.
Bob T.

I thought Jack’s Demon was further along that this, as I saw a photo of the fuselage in a hangar some years ago & it looked fairly complete.
It was 🙂 Due to being near the coast a lot of the untreated aluminium tubes and bits and pieces had started to really suffer with corrosion. Our Project leader decided it prudent we do a full tear down to arrest the current and future corrosion problems.Plus it gave us a chance to Bling up all those lovely stainless pieces 🙂

Hi Ross
Thanks for the photo’s & info. As I am a Hawker Biplane junky, I have been having severe withdrawl symptom’s due to the lack of supply, so you have given me my much needed fix of Hawker biplane :D.

Guy Black had to have a batch of tyres made for Hawker biplanes. (I just read it, I don’t know the gentleman, unfortunately!)

Thank you muchly..Not much of a demand for aircraft of such rarity but will ask 🙂

Ross,
My answer to most tyre questions is DESSER. Have you checked with them? I believe they supply most of the warbirds flying today. They’ll even consider a limited production run if they think the demand is there.
