We’ve seen these tail rotors being more popular and used on multi role helos such as the Panther, Ka-60, EC165, etc.. and on attack helicopters such as the Commanche, OH-1, and Gazelle, however..
how come there has not been any use of these type of tail rotors on larger helicopters, such as the EH101, NH90, and Mi-8 class? I was rather surprised to see the NH90 using a conventional lay out rather than a Fenestron tail rotor.
