You lucky thing, I never seem to get chances like that. Maybe because I never find the time to hang around airfields any more.
Was that aimed at me? 🙂 If so, its because I have my licence and a friend of mine was doing a photography flight with the chipmunk and pitts special. So I flew my friends plane and he took the pics 🙂 We then circled around a virgin hotair balloon near the cardington hangars and took pics enroute back home. 🙂

I did some formation flying with that Chipmunk (and a pitts special) last year (I was in a beech musketeer)

I seem to recall The Cessna 337 sat at Kidlington for a long time (about 6 months) but for all the time she sat outside she never showed signs of neglect but at the same time I never saw anyone go near her.
